In 2002, MLB and the DC Sports & Entertainment Commission hired EE&K Architects to evaluate sites for a new MLB stadium. After evaluating over 30 sites, these two preferred sites were finalists. One site was New York Avenue Metro and the other M Street SE. The first two images are M Street and the next three are of NY Avenue Metro. M Street was eventually selected, but the final stadium differed from these images.
