This concept for a Kansas City sports complex was proposed in 1966. The plan called for a football/baseball stadium along with an arena. At first, (first two images) the plan was for the complex to be located near downtown KC. It ran into opposition, so the concept was then proposed (third image) at the site which was later used for Kauffman and Arrowhead Stadiums.
