In an attempt to lure the Montreal Expos in 2004, the Virginia Baseball Stadium Authority presented this concept to MLB. The original plans called for a 42,500 seat ballpark designed by HKS S&E Group to be located in Arlington County, VA (first four images below). Later, plans were changed (bottom two images) and the park was to belocated near Dulles Int’l Airport in Loudoun County, VA. As the Expos relocated to Washington for the 2005 season all plans were eventually abandoned.
