In 2004, in an attempt to lure an existing MLB team, the city of Portland, OR worked up several ballpark plans with HOK Sport. They focused on four locations in the downtown Portland area: Blanchard, Post Office, PGE Park, and Lincoln High School. All for designs/locations involved traditional brick/steel construction and utilization of their surroundings. With the Expos moving to Washington, plans were quietly abandoned.
