In 1988, the Maryland Stadium Authority held a competition/interview process to design the new stadium. Below are two concepts by HOK Sport for the Camden Yards ballpark site. The first was the initial plan from 1986 which didn’t include the B&O Warehouse. The second image is a 1987 drawing which featured a the Warehouse shortened and more rounded features than the final ballpark. Below the HOK designs are models from other architecture firms. HOK was hired by the Authority.
