Prior to settling on the final retractable dome design of Miller Park, the Brewers looked over many different possible designs in the 1990’s. Submissions were made by HKS, HOK Sport, Ellerbe Becket, Devine deFlon Yeager and others. Most concepts involved retractable roofs, but at least one early design didn’t and looked very similar to Ebbets Field.
